Q:  Who are you?
A: I’m your shade on a sunny day.

Q: Tell us about your playlist.
A: Proof is in the pudding, give it a taste.

Q: What are you working on right now?
A: My album ‘Bad for Business’ just came out so I’ve been working on the visual components. Just released a video for my new single ‘How Many Flowers’ – the first song on my playlist.

Q: What are you working on next?
A: A new album. Toning my glutes. Mindfulness.

Q: What is the best story from a set or performance?
A: Favorite show ever was at Sunny’s Bar in Red Hook with the band that played on my new album. Best players in the world! We had just finished recording and spirits were so high. The room was packed. It was just really special. I’ve never been so happy.

Q: What is the best sound?
A: Electric guitar forever & ever, amen.

Q: What is your favorite part of your creative process?
A: Every part. Even writer’s block has a special place in my heart.

Q: What is your favorite color?
A: Head-to-toe red.

Q: What artist do you admire the most?
A: Davide Sorrenti, Tiger Merritt, Buckley, James Baldwin, Austyn Weiner, Daniel Johnston, Ciara Ramirez, my grandma..so many more.

Q: If you were a cocktail, what would you be?
A: I’d be a mocktail because alcohol makes me psychotic..preferably something bitter.

Q: What is the greatest feeling in the world?
A: Nailing it on the first take.

Q: What was the last thing that made you laugh really hard?
A:  I was taking out the trash and my husband comes flying toward me out of nowhere on his skateboard, with a huge smile on his face yelling, “cowabunga dude!” and then he completely wiped out & I couldn’t believe it was real life.

Q: What is the last text message in your phone?
A: “You’ll fucking love this guitar” from Nick Bockrath.

Q: What was the last song you listened to on repeat?
A: Tape demo for a new song I’m working on.

Q: If you could supervise music for a TV show or a movie, what would it be?
A: Oh man, I’d rather just have someone else supervise and use my tunes.
