CHLOE CAILLET

CHLOE CAILLET

Q: Who are you?
A: Chloe, currently unemployed but in the real world a DJ/ producer I guess that makes me an artist?

Q: Tell us about your playlist.
A: I chose the songs that currently get me out of bed, get my day started and keep my mind going amidst this madness.

Q: What are you working on right now?
A: Currently working on finishing up lots of music. I am aiming to come out of this quarantine with lots of new music to share. Will be dropping my first EP at the end of all of this.

Q: What are you working on next?
A: Next will be catching up on all the cancelled or postpones shows I had coming up. As soon as things get back to normal I assume the whole world will be on the lookout for a dance.

Q: What is the best story from a set or performance?
A: I guess when I played for nearly 22 hours straight with a few breaks here and there at the closing night of my residency last summer at Pacha with Dixon and my duo project PVBLIC XCESS.

Q: What is the best sound?
A: My favorite track to play at the moment is a classic Lil Louis song called “Lonely” the J Club remix.

Q: What is your favorite part of your creative process?
A: The beginning of it, when you start an idea not knowing where it’s going. I always find it crazy to look back at your creative process when you have the final finished idea. The creative mind is a wild place!

Q: What is your favorite color?
A: Blue, all shades of it.

Q: What artist do you admire the most?
A: All artists, it’s really not an easy lane and I admire anyone who dives into their artististry in any way.

Q: If you were a cocktail, what would you be?
A: Definitely a margarita on the rocks with no salt.

Q: What is the greatest feeling in the world?
A: Having the whole crowd react to a song you play.

Q: What was the last thing that made you laugh really hard?
A: My friend getting chased in a field by a sheep.

Q: What is the last text message in your phone?
A: Another Corona meme.

Q: What was the last song you listened to on repeat?
A: “Mad World” – Tears For Fears

Q: If you could supervise music for a TV show or a movie, what would it be?
A: Tiger King, best new TV show out there or more obvious Stranger Things as i’m a huge 80’s music fan!
