FLAVOR OF THE MONTH: MELANIA TRUMP
Being a struggling artist is hard work. How does one stay inspired when no one really gives a shit? Thomas Edison famously said “Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time” – lol.
Obsessive, impulsive and compulsive make up my intrusive thought process, filling my days with important question marks: Is being unemployed and freelance the same thing? Did I have an informed opinion before Facebook? Why’ve you not liked my picture? What is an identity crisis?
As a member of a very freelance generation where the idea of drawing inspiration from the unexplored (creating an app) is far more unrealistic than interning until retirement, I find the best cure for my anxiety inducing self-obsession to be as simple as just putting all my energy into focusing on something totally unproductive. My flavour of the week is….
MELANIA TRUMP
The Slovak beauty comes from humble beginnings, growing up in a modest housing block in then Yugoslavia’s Sava Valley. Fast forward through a successful modeling career and marriage to money mogul and potential soon-to-be president of the USA Donald Trump, Melania is looking at first lady status. More than ever recently, it can be confirmed that there are no endearing character traits behind the less than fortunate face of Donald Trump so we can safely assume that Melania was born with a thirst for the finer things in life, which don is even richer in than hitler-esq ideologies.
Question is, is Melania really hungry for the power? She has a notable past in philanthropy- as do most Eastern European ‘wives of’, and I would love to pick her brain on what she has in store for America’s future, barring supporting her husband in genocide; however, signing up for a good wardrobe in exchange for bad sex is a different ballgame from plotting for presidential power. In my fantasies I compare Melania Trump to the Cheri Palmers and Claire Underwood’s of our television screens but in fact she is probably just in fact a hilarious coincidence, who’s just kind of pissed. Which is equally as entertaining.
