There’s no perfect or best or greatest, but there are times when everything lines up quite nicely, when you get that runner’s high. For instance I made a near flawless rice omelet the other day.

Andy Goldsworthy is up there at the moment. He has currently convinced me that being an artist is the highest form of human accomplishment. There’s also a hummingbird outside my window nowadays, brilliantly talented little fucker.
