A: Hi, I’m Dave. I’m right handed.

A: Here we have a bunch of tunes that I have been listening to over quarantine. I’ve been trying to learn how to play most of them on the piano :).
Q: What are you working on right now?
A: One of the projects I am most excited about is a documentary that we made with J Balvin and Amazon Studios called The Boy from Medellin….Coming Soon!
Q: What are you working on next?
A: Becoming a better gardener.
Q: What is the best sound?
A: It’s a tie between the sound a basketball makes perfectly swishing the net and a slightly distorted wurlitzer with a touch of vibrato.
Q: What is your favorite part of your creative process?
A: When you make a mistake and then that mistake actually ends up informing the direction you take.

A: Feeling blue these days.
Q: What artist do you admire the most?
A: This is too tough to answer. Beethoven is definitely in my top 5. Alec Egan is my favorite painter.
Q: If you were a cocktail, what would you be?
A: Tequila rocks with a little bit of mint.
Q: What is the greatest feeling in the world?
A: Making Mama Apples proud.
Q: What was the last thing that made you laugh really hard?
A: Big Body Bes on SideTalk NYC.
Q: What is the last text message in your phone?
A: “I aint stand on corners 3 in da mornin makin zoo animal noises with mortgage money in my sock for nothin!!!” lolololol.
Q: What was the last song you listened to on repeat?
A: Found a bunch of cassettes from my childhood so I went and bought a tape deck and have been playing this KRS ONE album non stop.
Q: If you could supervise music for a TV show or a movie, what would it be?
A: I used to love getting stoned with friends while watching Planet Earth on mute and play my own soundtrack over the show.
