LA TOMATINA
La Tomatina is an annual festival held in the Valencian town of Buñol, in which participants throw rotten tomatoes at each other for a single hour, purely for entertainment purposes. Since 1945 it has been held on the last Wednesday of August, during the week of festivities of Buñol. Gaspar Noé, accompanied by stylist Helena Tejedor and artist Maria Forque trudge through the crimson sludge and capture this epically unemployed Spanish tradition.
